Welcome to the GlobaLIS!

The GlobaLIS (Global Library and Information Science) Project started in 2010 will take an initiative in attaining the globalization of Japanese LIS professional education.
We study　quality　assurance　and　accreditation　systems　of　LIS　education　in　the　World　focusing　on　the　transparency and reciprocity of professional qualification and academic degrees in LIS.

The GlobaLIS has 3 projects which relate to the quality assurance and accreditation systems of LIS education in the Asia and Pacific region.

1. Buinding the database of LIS curriculum worldwide on the GlobaLIS website
2. Publishing of book on International &comparative studies in LIS Education
3. Holding on the workshop for school library practitioners in Asia & Pacific
